Fans of feats of strength, you
won’t want to miss the 4th Annual Wise Wellness Center Strongman Challenge,
Saturday, August 23rd in Grove City, Pennsylvania.
·
Action takes place at the Wise
Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine Complex, starting at 9:30 am.
·
Some of the strongest men
around will invade Grove City to compete in six grueling events, including
the log press, the industrial tire flip, and the carry and drag.
·
Admission is free, but come
prepared to purchase food, beverages, strongman tees, and raffle tickets…all
proceeds will create scholarship money for Grove City High School Academics.
·
Among those expected to
compete is Steve Kirit, who is coming off a national strongman championship
and birth into the World’s Strongest Man Contest. Kirit, the defending
champion, will have plenty of competition, however. A host of local,
regional, and national talent will vie for the $500 first prize, Wendell
August Forge Championship Trophy, and bragging rights!

at the Wise Wellness Center Strongman Challenge, Saturday August 23rd.

NFL Hall-of-Famer and former
NFL Strongman Champion John Kolb will help kick-off the action moments
before the 9:30 am start. It all takes place at the Wise Physical Therapy &
Sports Medicine Complex in Grove City, conveniently located near I79 and I80
and just seconds from United Community Hospital on Cranberry Road.

injuries, minor to severe, and I appreciate the consequences of sustaining
such injuries (risks include, but are not limited to, sustaining orthopedic
injuries and physical trauma from dropped weight or over exertion.) I agree
to accept these risks as a condition of my voluntary participation. I
assert that I am in good health and have no medical conditions that
contraindicate participation in strongman events. I agree to hold harmless
Wise Wellness Center, Wise Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine, employees or
