This past march we met Chris. It was raining very hard in Daytona beach, and a lot of bikers pulled into the Auto Zone to get out of the rain. Out of 20 or so soggy and cold bikers were hanging out in the lobby. Chris distinguished himself by helping a young lady put on her new windshield wipers that she had just purchased. I can tell you the guys that weren’t impressed by him were ashamed not to help this lady in distress. We talked for a bit afterwards, and asked if I could e-mail a picture of him and this young lady to him. Up til that point I did not even know his name. but I will always remember his kindness and his willingness to continue getting wet, in order to help. Now I know what you think, there is a hot woman needing help, who wouldn’t help? Not in Chris’ case I think he just thought that that was just the right thing to do. Again we are sorry for your loss. But take comfort, while he was here, he made a difference. The small kindnesses add up.

Respectfully,
