Welcome to the North American Strongman Society also known as
NASS. My name is Willie Wessels. The North American Strongman Society is
the premier strongman organization in North America. Prior to becoming the
president of the NASS organization, I served as the NASS state chair for
Missouri for two years. As of February 1st, 2002 founder Bill Holland has
turned NASS over to me. With the help of my wife Dionne, we will make every
effort to take NASS to the next level.
We have established a structure for NASS contest and NASS
competitors. NASS will work closely with Jim Davis (the IFSA-US official)
and together, we will provide opportunities for Amateurs to become/compete
as a professional Strongman. Our main goal is to provide fair, safe, and
fun contest all over America.
Whether you're a first time competitor or you compete twenty
times a year, we are her for you and the sport. By competing in this
contest you can qualify for the NASS Nationals and have a chance to turn
pro. What ever you motivation for competing is you will be part of a great
organization and a great contest.
